Man seriously injured after 35ft fall

A 23 year old Polish man is fighting for his life in Limerick Regional Hospital tonight after he fell from a 2nd story window of a building on Upper Henry Street.

The incident happened around 7pm this evening. Gardai ,Ambulance and Fire services rushed to the scene and the young man was quickly taken to hospital suffering multiple injuries.

The area remains sealed off tonight and NewsTalk Radio reports that a technical examination is the scene is to be carried out.

UPDATE:The man is now in a stable condition and Gardai now say they are keeping an open mind as to how the man crashed through the 2nd floor window.
