Elderly man missing from home in Kilmallock found safe and well

A 76 year old man who had not been seen since he left his Kilmallock home at 11pm last night has been found safe and well.

The family of Maurice Hartnett had become very concerned for his safety as he suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and feared he ‘may be going through a period of memory loss’.An all out search was then launched.

The man was found today on the Kilmallock to Ardpatrick Road.He did not suffer an injuries.
