MAN SHOT IN ST MARYS PARK

Gardai in Limerick are currently investigating a shooting which took place at 5am this morning in the St marys park area of the city.

The man in his 40's is thought to have suffered multiple shots to his legs.
He was rushed to Limerick Regional Hospital. His injuries are not life threatening.

Gardai do not believe the shooting is fued related.
