Body found in sea off Clare coast
Rescue services have recovered the body of a man off the coast of Clare tonight.
The body was discovered after a major search and rescue operation was launched when a man was seen entering the water at Lahinch Strand at 3.45pm today.
Search boats from Doolin and Lahinch were dispatched immediately after the incident but efforts to find the man were hampered by severe weather.
Gardai are reportedly on their way to the scene.
