€140,000 worth of drugs seized in searches
Gardai seized more than €140,000 worth of cannabis resin and heroin in searches carried out around the city yesterday, the organization confirmed tonight.
Three people were arrested in the operation which included searches of a number of houses and a car yesterday afternoon and late evening.
A man in his 30’s and a man in his 20’s were detained under the Drug Trafficking Act while another man was detained under the Criminal Justice Act.
All three were released this morning while a file is bring prepared for the Director of public prosecutions.
