Students attending Mary Immaculate College got an eyeful of road carnage yesterday as they were the latest to witness the full horror of a road traffic incident demonstration. Emergency services involved in the Lifesaver Project regularly re enact crash scenarios at places of education around Limerick in an effort to promote road saftey and make students aware of the lasting impact traffic accidents have on people lives.

The price of farmland in Limerick County has fallen by a massive 41% according to a survey published yesterday. RTE carries the story saying the national average price for farmland in 2008 was at €15,800 an acre.
