ARMED ROBBERY AT LIMERICK BANK
Details are still coming in about the armed robbery which took place today at the AIB bank in raheen in limerick.
Some reports say 2 people were involved while others say it was a lone raider who walked into the bank at 1:15 today and demanded cash.
The raider or raiders escaped in a jeep which was then chased by gardai until it was found abandoned in the Southhill area of the city.
Live 95fm reports that the suspects may have been armed with a gun while a screwdriver has also been mentioned.
Live 95fm also reports that some of the money has been recovered but not all.
Investigations are ongoing.
