MAN FOUND SHOT DEAD IN CLARE

An 18 year old man has been found shot dead in Blackwater , Co.Clare.The incident happened around 11pm last night.

Details are still sketchy this morning but it is believed this was a gangland execution.The young man from College Avenue Limerick and know to limerick gardai was lured to his death.

NewsWire understands that he was discovered sitting in a car down a small laneway with five gunshot wounds.He was rushed to hospital last night but died from his injuries shortly after.

Live 95fm reports that a gun was found near the body.

The area has been sealed off and gardai are investigating . The car will be taken from the scene this morning.
