Women Escapes injury after Jeep Plunge

The limerick Leader reports tonight on a road accident which occurred yesterday morning on the Old park road in which a women drove her jeep off the road onto the canal bank below.

The incident happened around 10.30am when the women was driving from the Musgraves side of the old park road and over Mike Madden's bridge.

The Fire Brigade were quickly on the scene but the women was already out of the vehicle.

One local resident said the accident could have been a lot worse.
