Some goings on today in the city

A few things happening today in the city,

:: In a build up to tonight’s Heineken European Cup game in Thomand park it is being reported that Santa himself will be parading the Heineken Cup itself on a short tour of the city on board a vintage fire engine today.

:: Street entertainers will be on hand as the newly pedestrianised Bedford row holds a special Christmas market beginning at 2 o clock.

:: Also today another red event, Limerick fire Brigade will be at a number of different areas around the city including Thomand and the city centre demonstrating how they cut people out of crashed cars in a goal to promote road safety this Christmas.

:: Then of course the Heineken European Cup game in Thomand park pitting Munster against the Cardiff Blues.
