Teen appears charged with Limerick murder
A third teen has appeared in court today charged with the murder of a young man in Limerick over a year ago.
Joseph Keane (18) from Garryowen appeared before Limerick District Court today charged with the murder of Darren Coughlan (18), on the Old Cratloe Road on November 4th, 2005 and also charged with withholding information relating to the death.
He was remanded in custody for another week.
Mr Coughlin was walking along the Old Cratloe Road last November night, when he was set upon by a group of men. He was chased a short distance and then kicked a number of times in the head and upper body.
Two others, Shane Kelly and Richard Treacy have already been charged with Mr. Coughlin's murder.
