Six arrested in Cronin murder investigation

A total of six people have been arrested in connection with the death of James Cronin in April this year.

Two men in their early twenties, three women in their twenties and a 16-year-old boy, were all arrested yesterday evening in connection with the murder. All six were detained in the Weston area of the city.

The body of 20 year old James Cronin was found on waste ground close to the city on April 7th. He had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

All arrested can be held for up to 72hrs before being released or charged.
