Limerick City Garda killed in Galway crash
A Limerick based member of An Garda Siochana has been killed in a road accident in Galway.
The 24 year old was killed when the car in which he was travelling, hit a wall near Loughrea in Co Galway around 5am. The young man was the only occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Although not originally from Limerick, Live95FM reports the Garda was based out of Henry Street and Mayorstone Garda stations.
