Taoiseach, Justice Minister to meet Garda head following murder
Taoiseach Brian Cowen, Justice Minister Dermot Ahern and the Garda Commissioner Fachtna Murphy, will meet tomorrow over the murder of Shane Geoghegan, national media reported tonight.

Funeral details have also been announced for Mr. Geoghegan. Requiem Mass in St. Joseph's Church, O'Connell Avenue, on Wednesday at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Mungret Cemetery.
A Government spokesman said the Taoiseach had asked the Justice Minister to bring one of his regular meetings with the Garda Commissioner forward following the shooting.Meanwhile the Mayor of Limerick Cllr John Gilligan has set up books of condolences at city hall and county hall to be signed by the public which will be presented to the family of Shane Geoghegan.
The meeting will take place in the Taoiseach's Office with the Taoiseach present.
