Gardai probe petrol bomb attack

Gardai in Limerick are investigating an apparent petrol bomb attack on a car on Friday night.

Gardai say car which was parked in the driveway of a house at Island View Terrace on the north side of the city, was set on fire around 8pm. The car was destroyed and a house was badly damaged in the attack.

Gardai at Mayorstone station are searching for a motive for the attack.
