Missing Lisnagry man found in Ahane
An elderly Limerick man who has been missing from his home in Lisnagry has been found and rescued, semi submerged in water in Ahane.
Rescue services were called to 63 year old Seamus Ryans location after he was spotted in his car, upside down in a ditch by a man walking his dog around 10am.
Local radio reports he was rescued by Ambulance personnel and taken to the Mid western regional hospital where its believed he is suffering from hypothermia.
Mr. Ryan from Knockbrack, Lisnagry was last seen leaving his home yesterday afternoon driving his red Nissan Micra and Gardai feared for his saftey due to possible poor health.
