Man pleads guilty to city hotel murder
A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman at a Limerick City hotel in 2007.
24 year old Jerry McGrath from Knockavilla in Co Tipperary pleaded guilty this morning at the Central criminal Court to the murder of mother of two, 33 year old Sylvia Roche Kelly at the Clarion hotel on December 8th 2007.
Mrs Kelly who is originally from Coonagh was celebrating her 33rd birthday with family and friends on the night she was found dead at a hotel room by staff of the hotel, the victim of a violent assault.
More evidence will be heard in the trial later today.
