One dead in Kilteely road accident
One person has been killed following a road traffic accident in County Limerick Friday night.
It’s understood the victim, a male pedestrian, was struck by a car just outside the village of Kilteely around 8.45pm. He died at the scene.
His body was removed to the Mid Western Regional Hospital where a post-mortem is expected to be carried out.
Gardai at Bruff are investigating the accident and say the road from Kilteely to Emly will be closed for technical examinations this morning.
