Limerick Man found guilty of murder
Joe Greaney has been jailed for life after he was convicted of murdering his neighbour in County Kerry last year
Greaney, a native of Limerick who had worked as a chef in Killarney, has pleaded not guilty to murder but guilty of manslaughter of Fergal Landy at Cahernane Meadows, Killarney.
It took the jury of 7 men and 5 women over nine hours of deliberating before they came to there verdict.Mr Justice Paul Carney imposed the mandatory life sentence on Joe Greaney.
