Man arrested in relation to 2003 murder
A man appeared before Limerick District court Sunday charged with withholding information about a murder which took place in 2003.
Andrew Nolan who is 26-year-old and from Ash Avenue was arrested by Limerick Gardaí early Sunday Morning after he came back to the country. He is being held in relation to the murder of Michael Campbell McNamara.
Mr McNamara's body was discovered in a field in the Southill area in October of 2003
A burnt out car belonging to him was found in the Fedamore area outside Limerick the next day. The McCarthy-Dundon gang is suspected of carrying out the murder according to the Examiner.
