After an intense surveillance operation, officers from Roxboro Road Garda Station uncovered the factory - used to store, cut and package the drug - last week.
Cocaine in an uncut form with an estimated street value of €10,000 and a cocaine pressing machine was also recovered during the raid last week.
When processed and packaged, it is believed the narcotics recovered would have been worth an estimated €20,000. Senior members of the gang are currently in prison but are still believed to be directing the gang's operations from behind bars.
The Dundon-McCarthy and Keane-Collopy gangs are involved in a bloody feud against each other in a bid to gain the upper hand in city's drugs trade.
Limerick is often used as a distribution point by drug gangs for the west and south of the country. Limerick's criminal gangs have in recent years forged links with their Dublin counterparts.
