Man seriously injured in city centre accident

A 21-year-old man is in serious but stable condition tonight after he was knocked down by a truck in the early hours.

Live95FM reports the young man walked out in front of the truck at the junction of Henry Street and Bedford Row around 3am.

Gardai and ambulance personnel responded to the scene and the man was taken to Limerick Mid Western Regional Hospital.

Gardai are investigating.
