Gardai uncover ammo and drugs in city searches
Gardai investigating the murder of Shane Geoghegan have uncovered ammunition and drugs in searches carried out today.
The planned dig began early this morning in Caladonian Park and hundreds of rounds of ammunition along with an estimated €40,000 worth of cannabis were found.
Garda operations are continuing.
Meanwhile Gardai on the hunt for Shane Geoghegans killers are reported to be tracking them through the social networking site Bebo.
