Shane Geoghagan to be laid to rest today

Motorists are being advised to expect delays and road closures as thousands of mourners are expected to attend the funeral of Shane Geoghagan this morning.

The funeral takes place at 11am in St Josephs Church on O’ Connell Ave. Following the mass the cortage will make its way to Mungret Cemetery.

Motorists are advised to expect a lot of extra traffic in the area as massive numbers are expected at the funeral.
