Body of man found in Dublin

A man in his 40's has been found shot dead in coolock north Dublin.

It is believed the man's body was found at Edenmore Avenue at around 9.00am this morning. The man was found sitting in a car in a driveway of a house with a number of gunshot wounds.It was believed that he was returning to his house when he was shot.

The body remains at the scene pending the arrival of the State Pathologist and crime scene investigators from the Garda Technical Bureau

Gardai have launched a full murder investigation.
