Body of missing Limerick man found

The NewsWire has learned that the body of missing student 24 year-old Phillip Henebry was found Saturday in a canal not far from where he was last seen.

It's believed the mas body was pulled from the canal after a garda search in the area.

Phillip was last seen on Tuesday night on Lelia Street when he was out celebrating his college graduation with friends. Gardai say he left the party he was at around 2am to meet with his girlfriend at a nearby apartment but never arrived.

His funeral mass takes place tomorrow night in Castleconnell.
