Man in his 20's dies after car hits tree in Clare

In a follow up to a story published last night.

A man has died after the car he was in left the road and struck a tree in Co. Clare.

The single vehicle incident happened around 10.30pm last night in the town of Bridgetown near O Briensbridge.

The man who was thought to be in his 20's was pronounced dead at the scene .

First reports last night indicated that he was trapped.
