Four arrested over Southill murder
Four people have been arrested in relation to the murder of a man in Southill in December.
The arrested; two men, a woman and a teenage boy are all being detained at separate Garda stations around the city.
David Hurley of the Limerick Leader reports tonight that the four are being detained on suspicion of withholding information relating to the murder of Noel Crawford last December.
It’s being reported that some of the people held were arrested earlier this week but Gardai did not release the information to the media for operational reasons.
40-year-old Noel Crawford was shot outside his house in Southill on Monday December 18th. He was approached by a lone gunman and shot at close range.
All four are being held under Section 30 of the Offences against the state act.
