Munster flags return to the streets

Christmas celebrations have officially ended in Limerick City with the taking down of the festive lights around the city centre, however new celebrations are just getting started.

190 or so Munster flags have been erected on the streets in preparation for the upcoming Munster vs Leicester Tigers at Thomond Park next Saturday.

Michael Gleeson from the Limerick City Business Association has more,

“Wherever there were lights, there will be flags. IT will be a sea of red hopefully for Leicester fans coming to Limerick”
