Feud related shooting incident

Gardai have arrested an 19 year old man after a shooting incident outside the city today.

Shots were discharged from one car at another car as they were inbound on the dual carriageway near the Radisson Hotel at lunchtime today. The driver of the car who was on his own was uninjured in the attack.

The shooting stopped after one of the cars crashed through a fence near the hotel and the occupants fled the scene.

Gardai say the incident is related to a feud on the city. Both cars are being forensically examined.
