Inmate serving 11 months gets another 5 months concurrently

A Limerick man who is currently serving an 11 month sentence has been given another 5 months in jail for a separate offence.

46 year old Gordan Ryan from Clarina Avenue was out on appeal for one offence when he broke into Barrington’s hospital in September last year and stole a computer monitor.

He was positively identified from CCTV and was convicted yesterday and sentenced to 5 months in jail; however it will run concurrent to the 11 month sentence he is already serving.
