Moyross man on trial next week


A Moyross man charged in relation to a shooting out the county last year will go on trial next week.

20 year old Paul Reddan (right) is charged with recklessly discharging a firearm on September 19th last.

Mr. Reddan is suspected of discharging a weapon at two men who were travelling in a van near the village of Ballyneety. The occupants, one a brother of murdered crime boss Kieran Keane were uninjured in the attack.

He has been on bail since the incident however at a hearing today the book of evidence was served against him and he will now appear before the circuit court next week when the case will begin.
