Southill searches after reported body sighting

Roxboro Gardai carried out a search of an area of Southill last night after receiving a report that gunshots had been heard and a body had been seen in an area known as Barry’s field.

Gardai say they are treating the reported sighing as serious but say they have not ruled out the possibility of it being a hoax.

Emergency services were on standby last night as Garda teams searched an area and it’s expected that another search will be carried out again today.

NEW DETAILS:

The Blogger reports that the two men who were allegedly killed and discarded in Barry’s Field have made themselves know to Gardai at Roxboro and are safe and well.

It’s believed now that this situation was a hoax.
