Man remanded on sex charge

A Clare man has been remanded for sentencing after a serious sexual assault on a Limerick woman in 2004.

29 year old Killkee man Brian Mulvihill pleaded guilty to the charge of aggravated sexual assault on the 20 year old Limerick student in Clare on August 6^th, 2004.

Breakingnews.ie reports “Mr. Justice Paul Carney directed that Mulvihill be registered as a sex offender and that a victim impact statement should be prepared for the sentence hearing when evidence of the crime will be given.”
