Fatal crash on N21 near Garryduff

A man was killed in a two car collision in county Limerick Wednesday night.

The 36 year old died after the car in which he was travelling collided with another car near Ballintubird, on the N21 between Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale around midnight. Two other men in the second car were not injured.

Gardai have said that, at this stage, the cause of the accident is believed to be weather related. The victim is not understood to be from Limerick.
