Prisoner updates webpage with photos from inside

Officials at Limerick prison on Mulgrave street are calling for mobile phone dampening technology to be implemented as soon as possible after it emerged that a prisoner in the facility has allegedly been furnishing a bebo page with photos taken of himself inside the prison.

The Irish Prison Service is investigating how 23 year old Liam Keane, from Singland in Ballysimon was allegedly able to take photos of himself and distribute them to the outside world where they were then placed on a bebo page.

Although the bebo page itself is not now accessible, only to selected friends, this evenings Daily Star has a selection of photos on display.

Mr. Keane is currently being held in custody at Limerick prison facing a number of charges including possession of a loaded pistol on May 4th.
