Search underway of Shannon river

Limerick Marine search and rescue service are reportedly carrying out a search of the Shannon River this afternoon, NewsWire has learned.

The crew are concentrating on an area north of the Shannon Bridge. NewsWire understands members of the Garda Sub Aqua unit are also in attendance on the quays.
