Castletroy hit by more burglaries

Gardai are investigating more burglaries in the Castletroy area of the city. It is reported that a total of five premises were broken into last night.

The places included a hairdresser, two factories and two Chinese restaurants. Gardai say they have yet to establish what exactly has been taken however they do believe the incidents are all related.

Earlier this month three University of Limerick students appeared in court where they admitted their role in a number of burglaries in the area. Their sentencing is due in July.
