Limerick criminals clash in prison
The Independent reports today that two Limerick criminals have clashed in what prison officials describe as a “brawl” in Portlaoise Prison.
23 year old Roy Woodland and 29 year old Paul Coffey went at each other at the top security prison leaving one of them requiring hospital treatment.
It’s thought Mr. Coffey may have been slashed with a blade during the incident. Neither of the two has made official complaints against the other since the scuffle.
No indication on when this actually happened in the article however.
