Traffic accident causing rush hour delays

A number of people are reported to have sustained minor injuries after a road traffic accident in Raheen this evening.

The three car collision happened near the South Court Hotel between the Raheen Roundabout and the Mungret Roundabout.

Fire ambulance and Gardai responded to the scene and large traffic delays are being experienced in the area.

AA RoadWatch reports:
There is a crash blocking the Raheen rd outside the Hotel, causing long delays for inbound traffic especially, and there is limited access to the Dock rd as a result.

Although the road is open, Gardai are asking motorists to avoid the area if possible.

UPDATE: AARoadwatch reports the crash has now been cleared.
