Five injured in city road crash

Five people were injured in a road accident in Limerick Tuesday evening.

The accident which happened around 10pm, involved two cars at Bengal terrace. Its believed the two car collision occurred when one motorist stopped suddenly to avoid a cyclist.

The Limerick Leader reports that the five injured were taken to the Mid-western Regional hospital however their injuries are not life threatening.
