Limerick men among four arrested in subversive activity probe

Two Limerick men have been arrested by Gardai in Clare in relation to ‘subversive activity’.

The men were arrested along with two other men from Armagh and Monaghan at a checkpoint in Kilrush. They were arrested on suspicion of being members of an unlawful organisation.

They are being held at Kilrush Garda station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
