O’ Dea remains Minister for Defence

Willie O Dea has retained his post as Minister for Defence after the new cabinet was unveiled in the Dail this evening

The 55 year old Limerick East TD was named as part of Brian Cowens new ministerial team which saw changes in other departments.

Mr. O Dea was named Minister for Defence following a cabinet reshuffle in 2004 and has held the position ever since.
