Two injured in fiery car smash
Two people have been injured, one seriously, after a fiery two car crash in Limerick city Friday night.
The accident occurred around 10.30pm when two cars collided at a junction close to the Statoil garage and the Quality hotel on the Childers Road on the southside of the city.
Emergency services quickly responded to the accident in which one of the cars had caught fire. A seriously injured woman was removed from the scene by ambulance to the Midwestern regional hospital.
