Report – 70 jobs to go at Dell Limerick plant
Dell computers have announced today that the company is shedding close to 250 jobs in Ireland.
Meetings will take place at Dell plants in Cherrywood in Dublin an at its Raheen plant here in Limerick where workers will be informed of the news.
It’s believed that 70 of the compulsory redundancies will centre on the Limerick plant while the other 180 jobs will go at the Dublin plant. The workers affected are centred in areas of administration, finance, and Human resources.
The computer manufacturer had stated at the start of the year that it was to shed close to 10% of its workforce worldwide.
