Multiple injuries after N21 traffic accidents


A series of road traffic accidents near Adare today has left 10 people slightly injured with a further five more requiring hospital treatment.Emergency services responded to the scenes of the multiple car accidents which occurred this afternoon on the N21 out of Adare.

It’s believed none of the injuries are life threatening however five of the injured have been transferred to Limerick Regional Hospital and St. Johns Hospital in the city.

AARoadwatch reports:

N21/LIMERICK* The N21 is blocked northbound at Adare following a multiple car collision. Gardai are diverting traffic until further notice. If travelling from Kerry motorists are advised to use the N69 via Askeaton instead. Expect long delays.

Live 95FM has reported that up to 10 cars were involved in the accidents which occurred near Adare and Croagh.
