Three injured following Mungret crash
Three people including a pregnant woman have been injured in a road traffic accident in Co Limerick Friday evening.
Three units of the fire service along with two ambulances attended the scene of the accident which happened around 5.45pm at Baunacloka near Mungret village, which reportedly involved a pedestrian and two cars. The pregnant woman who is thought to be in her thirties was pinned against a wall by one of the cars in the incident.
The road between Mungret Village and the Fr. Russell road roundabout was closed for a time while emergency services dealt with the incident.
The injured were taken to the nearby Mid Western Regional Hospital where they are recovering. Their exact condition is not known.
