East Limerick water notice lifted
A water notice issued by limerick County Council Thursday evening for the Rockhill area of East Limerick has been lifted, radio reports say.
Director of water services for Limerick county council Paul Crowe told Live95FM that following extensive further testing by the agencies environmental laboratories and in consultation with the HSE, they are now in a position to lift the notice and says that the level of nitrates in the water is now below permitable levels.
340 people along with 153 domestic and non-domestic connections were affected by the notice overnight and early Friday.
