Gardai raid ‘The Mucky Duck’ pub

Gardai have carried out a raid on a city centre pub as part of continuing operations against organised crime in Limerick.

Gardai from Henry Street along with member of the Criminal Assets Bureaux raided the Mucky Duck, formally Dick Devanes pub on Nicholas Street early this morning and operations are said to be ongoing at the premises.

Reports over the last few months had suggested the Collopy crime gang had acquired the pub and CAB officials had been investigating the premises for a number of weeks.
