Gardai seek dead mans family

The man who’s body was pulled from the river Shannon yesterday has still not been named by Gardai. The body of the man in his fifties was taken from the river yesterday morning near the Boat club around 7:45am.

Gardai say they are confident of his identity but have failed so far to locate any next of kin and will not release his name until all family members have been informed.
